We were on the NYE cruise last month. Very nice moment! Incredible view on the fireworks, good food, lots of drinks (some of them are not included). And, above all... thanks to all of the nice and helpful people who helped me for the proposal 🙂

I spent New Year’s Eve on a cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the great vibe, delicious food, and the spectacular view of the fireworks. However, I would recommend stronger RSA enforcement, particularly as midnight approaches, to ensure everyone can safely and happily enjoy the night.

I spent the NYE of 2024 in a Harbourside cruise and it was magic. Everything was perfect. The boat was spacious, not crowded at all, crew extremely attentive, the food was good and abundant as well as the drinks. We couldn’t have a more privileged view of the fireworks. The whole experience was marvellous.

I and my husband went on their New Years Eve cruise. I would recommend it. Their dock is further away from the city center but easy enough to get to by tram - L1. The boat was large and clean with several seating areas. They got us front and center for the fireworks - right in the middle of the bay just outside the exclusion area without any boats between us and the fireworks. The food was fine but they needed two buffet areas as I stood in line for over 25 minutes to get dinner. There was a DJ and dancing but as an older couple we sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful views.

What a fantastic way to watch the Sydney fireworks on New Years Eve. The boat launches from Pyrmont away from the crowds and was easy to get to for boarding. I'd suggest taking the light rail in and out. The chef put on a superb meal and fancy dessert platter, staff were all very friendly and drinks ran all night. I'm not sure how the parking spots for the various boats get allocated but we had a front row seat to the spectacular 9pm and midnight shows. The boat captain does an amazing job of keeping the boat facing the show. From what we saw, this boat was one of the better designs for watching the show due to the large open upper deck, plus front deck area. As the cruise is sold as a dinner, there is sitting room for dinner for all, and thus the boat is not too crowded for watching the fireworks. The only downside for me was the person smoking near me from where I was watching the 9pm show. I don't think everyone else should be forced to endure that and hope Harbourside change their policy on smoking outside, especially since the woman threw her cigarette in the water afterwards. All in all, I don't think there could be a better way to watch the show for what is likely a once in a lifetime experience.

Great day on the harbour for Boxing Day, 4th year we have been on the boat. Great to get drinks on arrival but missed the assigned seating, given we are a group of 15, its good to have an assigned table.

It was our first cruise with Harbourside Cruises - for the Lunch Cruise on Boxing Day 26/12/24 - to view the start of the iconic SYD to HOB yacht race. Being greeted by the lovely Sonya upon arrival at King Street Wharf 9 was the beginning of a most memorable experience onboard the spacious 200 seat Catamaran. Boarding was seamless and the welcome from Captain Richard and all the Crew just confirmed that my group had chosen an established and very professional company to sail with. Food absolutely fresh, delicious and the buffet constantly being topped up and refreshed by the chef. We had a front row experience of the Maxi yachts at the 1300 start line... well done to Capt for positioning us so closely and safely - obviously has done this many times. Many of the passengers I spoke with said it was their 4th and 5th cruise with Harbourside Cruises... I too am now planning on future cruises and have shared the link with my family and friends and signed up for their newsletter. So 3 cheers to Capt Richard, Cruise Director Sonya, and Crew who gave my friends and I a day to remember!

5 star cruising on large catamaran with several different viewing sections. Absolutely delightful way to enjoy the harbour. Tasty, fresh and varied lunch, cold drinks, service. Experienced captains. Highly recommended. Will return!

It was an awesome way to view Vivid. The food was fantastic and the Music was amazing.

I had a wonderful experience with CNN/Harbourside Cruises recently. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everyone felt welcome. The music was lively and enjoyable, adding to the fun atmosphere. The cruise was very family-friendly, fun for all ages (especially the dancing). The drink selection was good and serviced by great bartenders. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service, great music, family-friendly fun, and delightful drinks. Definitely a cruise I would recommend.

We booked with Harbourside Cruises for a Vivid cruise and had a great experience. The staff were really friendly, one even offering to take pictures for everyone. The boat was nice and I was pleased that there was ample seating for everyone. The food was really delicious too. We will definitely book again.

Awesome Vibe, Awesome Music, Awesome Food and above all Awesome Staff!! We had an amazing time 🙂 The only downfall of the night was the cancellation of the vivid lights!

We wanted to experience Vivid from the Harbour this year and during my search I found Harbourside Cruises. I was so glad I did! My family and I had a great time. Good food and plenty of it topped up continuously. A DJ and dance floor. Amazing views of the harbour. This cruise ran for a generous 2 hours where most finish in 90 mins. Staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. The price was very reasonable. We will be back again with Harbourside Cruises.

A big thank you to Chris and the crew for the awesome food, for the awesome music and for the awesome drinks last night on the Vivid cruise. Even tho the lights weren’t on, there was so much fun had! Highly recommend!

Did the Harbour Cruise, Dinner for the opening night Vivid Sydney awesome! the food was yummy, the lights Fantastic,& even time to rock to the beat, on the dance floor with a super DJ And lovely people we got to know too.

We had a beautiful experience with them today. Everything was great food, drinks, desserts. I thank all the crew members whom made the mother's day cruise very memorable.

This is my 2nd cruise on the Harbour Spirit in 2 months one lunchtime and a night cruise (Aust day) and both times i have not been disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed both times. The Bar staff were tremendously kind and polite, very accommodating and served everyone with such professionalism, The MC made sure everyone was fed and kept updating when the food was ready which could be heard outside the boat while enjoying yourself or even coming up top and making sure everyones eaten, Hat's off to the skipper for being so relaxed and letting everyone just enjoy themselves. Everyone was so well behaved and just wanted to dance away and mingle and be happy. The DJ was awesome you can request songs and he played to the crowd which was very considerate and made this a very memorable cruise, hats off to the DJ for sure :). Hats also off to the Chef thank you for the yummy food and your preparation, we certainly left happy. Also the onboarding staff were very friendly and welcoming on the boat and kept the boat tidy and clean, clearing tables, passing out food very helpful. HS staff were all awesome and thats what you need. Overall i recommend Harbour Spirit for your day or/and night time fun with friends family or work colleagues. Price was very reasonable well worth it. I'll be back for more cruising for sure and bringing more famz and friendz. Thanks for awesome cruising Harbour Spirit.

We did the Australia day lunch cruise. Very well organised , staff lovely and helpful. Food and drink included and there was plenty to go round. Views were great, what a fantastic experience. Would definitely use this company if we are ever back to Australia.

A great experience! Carmen the events manager was a pleasure to deal with and she was so helpful making the whole booking process so easy. The staff on the boat were lovely and so accommodating! The food was amazing and there was plenty of different types of food in the buffet option. The DJ was fantastic and read the group very well. The whole experience was great value for money and such an enjoyable time for the group, highly recommend!

Such a seemless & easy way to get out on a boat & experience the amazing views of Sydney Harbour. The staff were so friendly & helpful, never hesitating to assist when needed. The food was amazing!!!
